Publications & Resources

Using stories and activities can be a really good way to explore issues with a child who has been bereaved.

We have created a list of books which we have found helpful when working with bereaved children, young people and their families.  There are also textbooks and reference sources for people working in the area of child bereavement.

Are your children taking part in our sponsored walk?

On Sunday, July 17th, the beautiful woodland trail in the grounds of Kelham Hall will be open for our sponsored walk.

The entry fee is £2.50 per child (under 12's) and we will be encouraging everyone that takes part to get sponsored with a target of £22.

You can choose to walk the 2.2KM route once, twice or 3 times, strolling through tree tunnels with views of the Victorian country house set in 44 acres of idyllic parkland beside the River Trent. The whole family can take part as the walk suits all ages and abilities and dogs are also welcome on a lead.

And that's not all!! To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee there will be lots of royal related items to spot along the trail, with a small gift for the children that find all the clues and solve the puzzle.

How to enter the 2.2 KM sponsored walk -

- Register here sign up form

- Pay your £2.50 entry fee here

Children that hit their sponsorship target of £22 will be presented with a Quids 4 Kids medal.

Throughout the day you can enjoy live music, entertainment and children's activities including inflatables and face painting. And the parking is free!!

Bring a blanket and your own picnic or choose from food and drink from local suppliers including The Renaissance at Kelham Hall.

Would you like to take part in the old skool sports day?

Teams will compete against each other in classic sports day races, including potato and spoon race and tug of war. Who will be awarded the 2022 champion?!
