Training for Professionals

BEREAVEMENT AND LOSS TRAINING:

Our Bereavement & loss training is suitable for anyone with a special interest or a responsibility for children following bereavement and loss. It will provide participants with examples of various grief models and an examination of them from the perspective of children and young people. It will also give insights into a child’s understanding at each developmental stage, examining how grief may manifest cognitively, affectively, emotionally and physically at each age bracket.

child playing Our Communication through play training course is suitable for TA’s, Pastoral Care Teachers, SENCO’s or staff with special interest and responsibility for children following bereavement or loss also those who would like to develop their skills and knowledge in this area.

Free Specialist Bereavement Support for Children & Families

The Children's Bereavement Centre is a registered charity that provides free specialist support for children and young people aged 3 -18 years as well as their parents or carers who are affected by the death or terminal-illness of someone important to them.
