THE DB WOOD VIRTUAL NEWARK HALF MARATHON 2024

August 10th and 11th, 2024

Unfortunately, due to the 2024 Newark Southern Link Road project, the Newark Half Marathon will not go ahead. The committee announced... "We very much hope that we will be back up and running in 2025 and we are looking at a variety of possible routes. We hope this will not be too much of a disappointment and we will, of course, keep you informed of any developments."

Robin Hood Half Marathon & Mini Marathon

If you've decided that 2024 is going to be the year in which you really challenge yourself, then why not take on  a half marathon? You can even get the kids involved with the mini marathon.

All you need to do is commit to raising at least £50 in sponsorship. If you reach a fundraising target of £150, we will give you a branded t-shirt to wear on the day.

If you have a place in the most famous marathon in this country and would like to raise funds for a local charity at the same time, then please raise money for us.

Newark ParkRun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out this is a great way to meet other runners and offers the perfect introduction if you're thinking about that half marathon challenge this year.
