Amy is a private client solicitor in Newark and lives locally with her husband and children.  She became involved with the Children's Bereavement Centre after her mum died six years ago when her children came to the CBC to make memory books and chat about their individual loss of a dear Nana.

"At a time when I was unable to help them with their grief, they came and made the most treasured memory books, talked about their sadness and laughed at special memories, all in the most perfect surroundings.  I can never hope to put into words what that meant to me and my family. It is so important for me to be involved and give something back if I can."
