We're supporting this year's #GivingTuesday campaign. Here are our 12 days of alternative ways you can support our charity this Christmas...

1 - Play our Hamper Scamper, just £1 per ticket. You could win a giant hamper full of surprises including food, drink and gift vouchers. Visit the centre on 3 Kings Road, Newark or the Newark Santa's Grotto in Newark Buttermarket before December 18th, 2022 for a ticket.

2 - Switch from the national lottery to the Newark and Sherwood Community Lottery. 60% of your ticket sale will be donated to local good causes. Play here.

3 - Attend our Christmas Candlelight Remembrance Service, a free community event, open to everyone. Light a candle for your loved one and join us for hot chocolate and mince pies. Thursday 8th December, 2022.

4 - Book tickets to our Christmas Concert, Christmas comes to Town by the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra on Saturday December 3, 2022 at 7.30pm or the Carols for everyone concert on Saturday, 10th December at the beautiful Southwell Minster.

5 - Shop online using one of these giving platforms. It won't cost you anything, the seller donates to good causes. Find out more here.

6 - Encourage your office, group or school to take part in the CBC Christmas Jumper Challenge.

7 - Give an alternative gift this year, why not pay for the registration of someone's charity skydive. Email Rachel for more details.

8 - Contact us about volunteering opportunities, our events team always need an extra pair of hands from collecting buckets to helping in our Newark Santa's Grotto. Please email volunteering@ to register your interest.

9 - Drop off any unwanted food items, wine, chocolates or gifts so we can use them to raise money in our Christmas raffles.

10 - We are looking for new venues for our collection tins.

11 - We love to work together with local businesses as corporate charity partners. If you are a local business that can offer your services or expertise and you would like to work together in 2023, please contact, Rachel, our Head of Fundraising.

12 - Sign up for a free place in one of our charity challenges for 2023. We have free places available in the Newark Castle 100 Cycle Event (May 2023) Newark Half Marathon and Robin Hood Half Marathon. Email Rachel to register.

Conference 2022
