Senior Bereavement Counsellor 

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced person-centred Bereavement Counsellor to build on existing successful services in Rushcliffe, to help expand the range of support to benefit local children and families affected by terminal illness or the death of someone important to them.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering both 1:1 support and group activities, carrying out family assessments, supporting volunteer bereavement support workers and contributing to future strategic planning.

Receptionist/Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to join a dedicated team to help ensure more local bereaved families receive the vital specialist support they need at a time when we are needed more than ever before.

You will share responsibility with the Afternoon Administrator for ensuring enquires from service-users, professionals and the local community are dealt with efficiently and sensitively. With over 2 years administration experience you will be able to provide high quality support to the team by undertaking a diverse range of tasks as required in a busy and fast-paced bereavement environment.

The successful candidate will need to have the empathy and sensitivity required to support families who are facing what is probably one of the most devastating times in their lives.  Accuracy, efficiency and high-level communication skills are essential to ensure all get the quality service they deserve, and you will help to maintain the excellent reputation of a well-loved charity.
