Make a splash at our Sponsored Swim:
Sunday July 14th – Newark Leisure Centre
Love swimming? Whether you’re a novice using armbands or a budding Michael Phelps why not get involved and join in our family friendly sponsored swim event. We are looking for people to register a team of up to six people. You will be allocated your own lane for 30 minutes and it’s up to you who swims when and how many lengths you do in your time slot. Anyone can get involved so whether you are a family, a group of friends, a sports group or a company looking for a fun event you can enjoy together at the same time as raising money for a worthwhile local charity and supporting local children why not get a team of people together and register today.

Blueseventy Big Swim Nottingham:
27th July 2019
Tackle a 1500m, 2500m or even ‘go for it’ 5000m open water lake swim at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham. Whether you’re a novice, experienced open water swimmer or Olympic athlete, this event is a fun challenge. The event is open to swimmers of all ages from 11 upwards. Great North Swim:
7th – 9th June 2019
The UK’s biggest weekend of open water swimming at Lake Windermere. Thousands of new and experienced swimmers will grab their goggles, wiggle into their wetsuits for an iconic swim experience. Why not join them and take on either ½ Mile, 1 Mile, 2 Miles, 5K & 10K swims.
Great East Swim:
22nd June 2019
Whether you’re looking to try an open water swim for the first time, or you’re searching for the ultimate challenge, the Great East Swim offers you a selection of distances to suit your ability.
The event takes place at Alton Water and is a great day out for swimmers, families and spectators. With farmers’ markets, plenty of musical entertainment and swim distances ranging from a half mile right up to a 10k, there really is something for everyone!
Great Swim Series, UK wide swims:
Since its first event in 2008, The Great Swim Series has grown into the largest open water swimming event series in the UK. With 22,000 competitors and 50,000 spectators, the series aims to challenge, engage and activate swimmers of all levels.
They have different events throughout the UK, why not take a look at their website and see if they have an event for you!
Nottingham Sprint Triathlon:
1st June 2019
The National Water Sports Centre is the perfect venue for testing yourself on a perfectly flat course where the tempo is high and the competition is fierce (and friendly!)
Whether you’re an experienced athlete looking for a fast time over the sprint distance or you’re a novice competitor looking for a safe and friendly venue for your first open water triathlon, then the Nottingham Triathlon is the perfect event.
750m Swim, 20km Bike followed by a 5km run.
Bassetlaw Sprint Triathlon:
the Bassetlaw Triathlon organised by Bassetlaw Triathlon Club. This pool swim tri has proved to be a great event for both novices and sprint distance enthusiasts. The event starts with the 400m pool swim at the BPL Worksop Leisure Centre, followed by a 1 lap 21k bike route, which heads out on a traffic managed route to explore the countryside and villages on the Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire border. Then it is on to the 2 lap 5k run, which keeps along the footpaths in the vicinity of the centre, and finishes on the field giving plenty of opportunity for your spectators to cheer you across the line.
