Guidance, advice and resources to support bereaved children and young people

during the Coronavirus pandemic and an update on the delivery of our services

Our Services

In line with government advice we have suspended all face-to-face services including 1:1 support sessions, peer groups, events and training and are working hard to offer alternative ways to continue to offer vital support to the children, young people and families that need our help.

On this page we plan to share lots of helpful advice and resources that will support you in a number of ways. From fun activities the whole family can enjoy together to techniques for good mental health and specialist bereavement support for those in need.

  • We wish to express our gratitude to the outstanding staff of this organisation.  They have always made us feel welcome and have supported us through a difficult phase in our lives.  Thank you we are very lucky and honoured to have come across your invaluable service.

  • The support and understanding given at the Children’s Bereavement Centre has enabled my son to be the funny, intelligent, helpful 13-year-old I thought we would never see.  Thank you so much.

  • A better understanding. My daughter has a better understanding of coming to terms with her loss and has learned to express her feelings more openly.

  • Amazing place.  The staff make the service amazing and know exactly what is needed and how to support a family when everything has collapsed under them.  Wonderful.
